A Robert Half client is looking for a creative and results-oriented Social Media Specialist to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
Create engaging and informative social media content using basic design skills (Canva or Adobe CC)
Schedule and publish content using Hootsuite
Analyze social media performance metrics and report on key findings
Stay up-to-date on the latest social media trends and best practices
Collaborate with other departments on social media initiatives (e.g., marketing, communications)
Requirements
2+ years of experience in social media management
Proven experience using Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
Strong understanding of social media marketing principles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Basic design skills (Canva or Adobe CC)
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience working in an association (a plus)
Openness to working onsite 3 days per week in DC
