Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Procurement Consultant in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. As a Sr. Procurement Consultant, you will be integral in the development, drafting, and processing of various procurement documents and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. This role also involves supporting audit preparations and monitoring ongoing projects.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and draft solicitations, modifications, justifications, and memorandums for the procurement of services.
• Accurately process purchase orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure consistent compliance with labor law, affirmative action, and equal opportunity regulations.
• Provide support in preparing for any compliance audits.
• Regularly monitor ongoing projects and provide necessary support.
• Uphold the highest standards of customer service in resolving inquiries.
• Maintain meticulous records of customer credit and procurement processes.
• Utilize skills in Buying Processes, Compliance, Customer Service, Documentation, Procurement, Purchase Orders, Audit Compliance, and Labor Law to optimize operations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation.
• Assist in maintaining uniform compliance with industry standards and regulations. Requirements
• Comprehensive understanding of buying processes and procurement for government entities
• Proficiency in creating and managing purchase orders
• Experience in audit compliance
• Familiarity with labor law as it pertains to procurement
• Ability to handle solicitations effectively
• Strong skills in documentation and record-keeping
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Demonstrated ability to maintain compliance with company and industry standards.
