Robert Half Help Desk Analyst in Washington, Pennsylvania

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst in Washington, Pennsylvania. The role includes providing IT support and assistance for various systems including IBM as400, phone systems, PCs, laptops, and networks. The position will be on-site and will also involve collaborating with field offices.

Responsibilities:

• Provide backup support for the current employee maintaining the IBM as400 system

• Aid in additional IT support tasks such as running reports

• Offer support for the phone systems, PCs, laptops, and the network

• Work on-site five days per week, ensuring smooth operations and immediate troubleshooting

• Collaborate with field offices, providing them necessary IT support and solutions

• Utilize skills in Database, Microsoft, Active Directory, Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, Deskside Support, and Desktop Hardware in performing tasks

• Ensure the smooth running of all IT systems and promptly resolve any issues or disruptions

• Maintain regular communication with the team to update them about any system changes or upgrades

• Collaborate with the IT team to improve system performance and implement new IT solutions. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience as a Help Desk Analyst or similar role

• Proficiency in database management

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Familiarity with Active Directory and its functionalities

• Understanding of computer hardware components and their functionalities

• Experience with configuration management tools and principles

• Skills in providing deskside support to users

• Knowledge of desktop hardware troubleshooting and maintenance

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
