Description
We are seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper in Waterloo, Iowa, to join our clients team. The role involves managing financial transactions and preparing and filing financial documents. The successful candidate will also be responsible for monitoring company accounts and entering payroll data.
Responsibilities:
• Document financial transaction details and monitor these transactions
• Prepare and file financial documents in a timely manner
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable and ensure accuracy in data entry
• Fact-check accounting data for accuracy and consistency
• Monitor company accounts on a regular basis
• Enter payroll and track payroll data meticulously
• Assist with tax payments and returns, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations
• Use accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel for financial management and reporting
• Carry out month-end close procedures efficiently
• Conduct account reconciliation on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of financial data
Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform Bank Reconciliations
• Solid understanding of Bookkeeping principles
• Skilled in Data Entry
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Month End Close procedures
• Knowledge of Payroll processes
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
