Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a mid-to-senior level IT Project Manager/PMO Analyst for a client in Watsonville, CA. Their Project Management Office is working on a number of important implementation projects across IT, including applications, ERP, and infrastructure, and we could use your expertise. This role will also support the day-to-day operations of CIO office and work closely with the Vendor and Portfolio Management team.
This role will require 4 days onsite in Watsonville, CA.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all projects stay on track.
Coordinates and ensures team SLAs and activities are being addressed appropriately
Use your experience with vendor management to handle contract negotiations and maintain ongoing relationships with our partners.
Supports oversight of vendor contracts and renewals, track vendor expenses
Coordinates and ensures team SLAs and activities are being addressed appropriately
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless project integration and delivery.
Using different data sources demonstrates the ability to create meaningful reporting
Create PowerPoint decks/presentations for management/executive audience
Identify and mitigate project risks, resolving issues efficiently to ensure projects stay on course.
Help to identify and develop solutions for continuous process improvement
Regularly update leadership with project status, milestones, and outcomes, so everyone stays informed.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
6+ years of experience managing IT projects/portfolio management, including experience with implementations of ERP and infrastructure projects.
Strong vendor management experience.
Experience with Excel, Power Point, Visio, ServiceNow SPM, ITSM, SAM, Project Portfolio Management, ITIL
An independent work ethic, able to manage and progress projects with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on managing challenges and mitigating risks.
PMP or equivalent certification is preferred, but not required.
