Description
This role handles essential tasks, such as financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position requires top-notch analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Excellent compensation is just part of the package. How you will make an impact
Coordinate Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Engage in various department-wide initiatives
Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions
Prepare financial analysis on trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc.
Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
Provide monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting

Requirements
Experience in SOX control execution/documentation
Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high pressure environment, to prioritize deals and adapt to quick changes while remaining diligent
Vow to meet business deadlines
Exceptional time management skills preferred
ERP system experience
Earlier experience in public accounting is highly valued
Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities
3-5 years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience
Demonstrated analytical abilities, tendency to quickly connect dots and surmise logical outcomes
Year end closings experience
Experience with fixed assets
Command of Year-end Reporting
Foundational knowledge in Fixed Asset Accounting
Demonstrated knowledge of forecasting
Adeptness in Budget Processes
Proficiency in month end closings
Understanding of corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
Excellent attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting
