Robert Half Cyber Security Architect in Waukegan, Illinois
We are seeking a dedicated Cybersecurity Architect to support our cybersecurity solutions. The successful candidate will plan, design, and test solutions to manage information security and data privacy risk for our growing company. This is an on-site position, and we are passionate about hiring individuals who share our drive for excellence.
Define and develop security requirements based on business strategies, risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and existing system analysis.
Collaborate with Project Managers and System Design Architects on requirements, processes, design, implementation, testing, and user acceptance.
Ensure policy compliance for a secure software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Develop and maintain a regular security testing strategy to confirm controls implementation and alignment with company standards.
Identify opportunities to advance innovative cybersecurity features and practices to improve our security posture and customer experience.
A bachelor's degree in information technology (IT) or a related field.
Experience with security controls, network protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and identity management.
Proficiency in security frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO, and ITIL.
