Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor in Wayne, New Jersey

Description

We are in the search for a dedicated Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our growing team in the cleaning industry, based in Wayne, New Jersey. As an Accounts Payable Supervisor, your primary role will be to ensure efficient and accurate management of high-volume invoice processing, while providing guidance and support to your team. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing process improvements, coordinating with various internal and external parties, and generating insightful reports to aid in decision-making and strategic planning. Responsibilities of this Accounts Payable Supervisor will include but not be limited to:

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and accurate processing of high-volume invoices

  • Provide guidance and support to a team of Accounts Payable specialists

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable operations, including receipt, verification, coding, approval, and payment processing

  • Work closely with internal departments and external vendors to resolve any invoice discrepancies and maintain positive relationships

  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline accounts payable procedures and minimize errors

  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal controls

  • Generate and analyze reports on accounts payable metrics to aid in strategic planning

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize systems and workflows related to accounts payable processes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related field.

  • Concur experience a plus.

  • Ability to handle discrepancies and resolve financial disputes.

  • Familiarity with expense reporting and budgeting.

  • Proven supervisory management skills, with the ability to lead a team.

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
