Growing company located in the Montgomery County area is looking to hire a Commercial Surety Advisor with proven experience specializing in providing surety bond solutions. In this role, the Commercial Surety Advisor will assess client needs and recommend appropriate bonding solutions, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations, identify areas for expansion, prepare presentations, build strong client relationships, and maintain relationships with surety underwriters, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient bond issuance. This candidate should have excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

How you will make an impact

· Consult with clients on their bonding requirements

· Analyze client financials, project specifications, and legal documents

· Determine appropriate bond amounts and coverage options

· Identify suitable surety markets

· Assist with indemnity negotiations

· Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients/surety companies

· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

· Stay informed on industry trends and market conditions

· Maintain accurate records of bond transactions/correspondence

Requirements

The ideal Commercial Surety Advisor will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

Other requirements for the Commercial Surety Advisor role include and are not limited to:

· 3-5 years of experience in surety underwriting or risk management

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Strong contract knowledge/negotiation skills

· Excellent communication skills

· Proven multitasking abilities
