Description You could join our local client's existing team onsite as their Senior Project Manager! This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Wayne, Pennsylvania area. This job's primary priority, as a key member of the team, is to ensure that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. You will also be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. Key responsibilities

  • Contributes as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - clearing obstacles, ensuring the team is working effectively, and leading scrum ceremonies

  • Affirm that the functional requirements are achievable, met, and tracked

  • Sets out project with right ticket workflows and boards

  • Commands deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Dev Ops, and Product Owner

  • Teams up with Product Owner/Product Manager to see to it that the product vision and high-level business objectives are apparent and accomplishable

  • Manage the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products

  • Acquires information from technical leads, QA leads and business analysts into counsel

  • Heads project planning

  • Work closely together with the Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, Business Analyst, and QA Manager

  • Contributes to manage dependencies among cross-product teams

  • Directs the daily stand-ups, seeing to it they are focused, brief, and timely

  • Eventuates and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner

  • Sets out schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product

  • Registers and controls the sprint planning and grooming meetings and trails ticket assignments

  • Contributes to identify, classify, and manage risk for functional improvement requests

  • Interacts with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects

  • Interacts and communicates with designers, stakeholders, developers, and technical team members

  • Provides the RACI matrix for projects in a product line

  • Produces detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, milestone completion, and project status

  • Coordinates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap Requirements - Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical colleagues

  • Excellent verbal, written, and social skills

    • Candidates with proficiency using commonly accepted scheduling and project management tools will be the best fit for this position
  • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines

  • Show the ability to adapt and learn new techniques and skill sets when required

    • Candidates who are familiar and comfortable with IT project management methodologies will be preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant Project Management experience

  • Prior success in project management, supervisory leadership, and operational management

    • Candidates with experience working with e-learning and blended learning programs will be the best fit for this position
  • Agile project management experience desired

  • Scrum experience

  • Strong familiarity with software development life cycles

    • You'll be a good fit for this position if you have a Project Management (PMP) certification

    • This most important thing for any applicant to this position is to be flexible and focused
