Robert Half Tax Staff Accountant in Wayne, Pennsylvania


Robert Half’s growing client has a stable, long-term opportunity to become a Tax Manager! In this role, you will provide tax projections, prepare various tax returns including not-for-profit, oversee tax staff, assist with tax research, coordinate with tax department on development initiatives and transactions, identify tax risks, and coordinate tax planning activities. The ideal Tax Manager should preferably have public accounting experience and proven knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws.

What you get to do daily

· Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns

· Ensure compliance with tax laws

· Create tax strategies

· Generate tax projections and analysis

· Review complex tax returns

· Analyze tax account reconciliations

· Assist with general ledger activities

· Identify tax discrepancies

· Implement best practices

· Maintain positive client relationships


The ideal Tax Manager will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Taxation or related field of study.

Other requirements for the Tax Manager role include and are not limited to:

· 3+ years of public accounting experience

· CPA preferred

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· CCH preferred

· Strong analytical skills
