We are partnering with a non-profit client in the Douglas MA area who is looking for a Human Resources Manager.
The Human Resources Manager will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or related field and 5+ years as a Human Resources Manager providing guidance and supervision to department staff. Experience with a HRIS or payroll software system in addition to use of all software components of Microsoft is required. The candidate must be able to pass a Criminal Offense Records Investigation as well as a national fingerprint check. Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
The Human Resource Manager will implement strategies pertaining to acquisition of staff, compensation guidelines, health and other benefits. Work cooperatively with Program Directors to ensure training and development of staff, related to employee relations management, AA/EEO compliance and accountability. Conduct checks of employee benefits on a monthly basis to ensure payments are in line with the employee’s status and that charges are being deducted as authorized for all benefits and insurances available to employees. Administers the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and COBRA.
The Client has full COVID protocols in effect as the Job is ON-SITE. Client requires and supplies masks, sanitizer, and has daily symptom questionnaires upon entry to the office. There are restricted common areas and the Human Resources Manager will have an office.
The ideal Human Resource Manager needs 5+ years of human resource experience in particular with employee file compliance, reviewing and analyzing benefits, internal controls, employee relations, and training employees on human resource practices.
