Robert Half HR Generalist in Weddington, North Carolina
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity in the Construction/Contractor industry. Based in Weddington, North Carolina, we are seeking a HR Generalist to join our team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across all HR functions, including compensation administration, employee relations, compliance, and benefits functions.
Responsibilities:
• Provide HR support to a team of 150 employees across three offices in Ohio, Texas, and Canada
• Play a vital role in recruitment, specifically for operators and laborers
• Manage and administer ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, and ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Support the use of HRMS, Ceridian, and About Time for HR functions
• Administer benefits and compensation packages for employees
• Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations
• Foster positive employee relations and promptly address any employee concerns
• Utilize Procore for project management and estimation assistance
• Collaborate with the marketing team for trade shows and website management
• Assist in transitioning the company through various changes. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and HRMS software
• Knowledge of About Time software for time tracking
• Understanding of Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration
• Ability to ensure Compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Strong skills in Employee Relations management
• Proficiency in using Procore construction project management software
• Experience in the construction/contractor industry is required
• Must hold a relevant degree or have equivalent HR Generalist experience in a similar industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make well-judged decisions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
