Robert Half Accounts Payable Coordinator in West Des Moines, Iowa
Description This successful company is seeking a detail-oriented individual to join their ranks as an Accounts Payable Clerk. This position could take your career to the next level. This Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk position is at a dynamic organization with a growing team, and will require the candidate to match, batch and code invoices, resolve A/P issues, process expense reports, update and reconcile sub-ledger to G/L, and process checks. The opening for a permanent Accounts Payable Clerk is in the West Des Moines, Iowa area.
How you will make an impact
Validate, record and send checks, including expediting special handling
Provide support to internal business partners
Carry out additional projects as required
Help with internal and external audits as required
Open, organize, and distribute department mail daily
Accomplish full-cycle A/P
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Perform daily processes and controls correctly and punctually, ensuring company policies are followed
Sort, register, scan, and store invoices, checks, and other documents Requirements
1+ years experience in an A/P role preferred or new grad with Accounting degree
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Ability to work within spreadsheets and databases
Possess strong organizational and follow-up skills
Credit Card Reconciliation experience
