Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant role, based in West Des Moines, Iowa. This position is within the telecom provider industry, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing cloud migration and modernization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring efficient execution and successful completion

• Utilize the Atlassian Jira application to manage project tasks, timelines, and resources

• Leverage cloud technologies including AWS CloudFormation, AWS CloudTrail, and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to deliver project outcomes

• Coordinate and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and project progression

• Utilize IT project management skills to oversee large system implementations and/or system upgrades

• Apply knowledge of Project Management and SDLC processes to manage projects in Agile, Waterfall or blended methodologies

• Utilize MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) to manage project documentation and communication

• Leverage previous insurance or financial services experience to manage projects within these domains

• Collaboratively work with the PMO - Project Management Office to align project goals and deliverables with organizational objectives. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Project Management or Sr. Consultant role

• Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is required

• Demonstrated knowledge of Cloud Technologies and Cloud Migration

• Experience with AWS CloudFormation and AWS CloudTrail is necessary

• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) is essential

• Proven experience in Cross Functional Project Management

• IT project management skills are required

• Previous experience working in a PMO - Project Management Office is a plus Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
