Robert Half Project Manager in West Hartford, Connecticut

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Manager in the construction industry. The role is located in West Hartford, Connecticut, and will require the incumbent to oversee various development projects. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with tenants and contractors, handle a variety of information, and ensure excellent communication within the team.

Responsibilities:

• Directly interact with tenants to address their needs and concerns.

• Collaborate with contractors on various projects, ensuring timely and efficient completion.

• Manage a vast array of information, facts, and figures related to ongoing projects.

• Write comprehensive reports and documents related to project progress and outcomes.

• Maintain strong communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

• Utilize Microsoft Office Suites for various administrative tasks.

• Demonstrate excellent communication skills in all interactions.

• Handle project management tasks in the construction industry.

• Adapt to a small office environment and work closely with a small team.

• Be willing to travel as required for the successful completion of projects. Requirements • Possess strong communication skills with the ability to articulate project needs and status clearly and effectively.

• Proven experience in project management, preferably in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire team members.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle project-related challenges.

• Understanding of project management methodologies and techniques.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
