Description
We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Westbury, New York.
Responsibilities:
• Execute daily processes and controls in compliance with company policies
• Math, batch, and code invoices daily
• Sort, log, photocopy, and file invoices, checks, and other documents
• Verify, log and mail checks, including expediting special handling
• Perform special projects as assigned
Requirements • Must have a strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Check Runs is necessary
• Must be proficient in Coding Invoices
• Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency
• Experience with Invoice Processing is required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have a strong work ethic and maintain confidentiality
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
