Robert Half Sr. Accountant in Westford, Massachusetts
Robert Half is looking for a senior accountant who can work independently and thrive in a fast pace environment. This is a position to work across various industries, continuously learn, and work on various projects. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for reviewing transactional accounting such as accounts payable and accounts receivable, along with posting journal entries to the General Ledger and month end close tasks. The Senior Accountant must be able to analyze data and provide data driven conclusions for financial reports. There will be ad hoc tasks and projects associated with this permanent consulting position.
Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience
5+ years experience working in corporate accounting: Month End Close, Financial Analysis, Data Analysis, Financial Reporting, Accounts Payable (AP), Expense Reports, Commissions
ERP system experience Oracle a plus
Excel - intermediate to advanced functions
Ability to meet deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication
Eye for detail and accuracy
