Description
Robert Half needs a PeopleSoft Systems Administrator with expertise in networking and load-balancing that will support the goals of a Retail organization. If you have an aptitude for problem solving and a strong sense of ownership, this position may be for you! As the long-term contract Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role. Your responsibilities
Sustain servers, load-balancers, and data storage found in various places
Improve large-scale distributed systems by changing and creating new designs, architectures, standards and methods
Participate in service capacity planning, demand forecasting, software performance evaluation, and system tuning
Requirements - Command of clustered and virtual storage solutions
PeopleSoft experience desired
Well-founded grasp of communication
Practical knowledge of System Patching
Expertise in PeopleSoft Functional
General familiarity with Patching
Foundational knowledge in CPU architecture
PeopleTools experience
Wide ranging experience with PeopleSoft HRIS
PUM experience
Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites
Quality experience with PeopleSoft HR
Familiarity with network operating systems - as well as programming or scripting language - is preferred
A reliable understanding of HTTP traffic, content delivery and caching
Proficient in crafting, analyzing and fixing large-scale distributed systems Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
