Robert Half Accounting Manager/Supervisor in Westminster, Colorado

Description We are inviting applications for the role of Accounting Manager/Supervisor based in Westminster, Colorado. The individual will play a pivotal role in overseeing our accounting functions, including processing of accounts payable and receivable, auditing, and managing billing functions. This role is critical in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

• Manage the implementation and utilization of accounting software systems, including ADP - Financial Services, BlackLine, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Supervise accounting functions to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct regular audits to validate the accuracy of financial data and procedures.

• Manage billing functions, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and recording of revenues.

• Implement and maintain ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline and automate financial management processes.

• Develop and implement strategies for improved financial performance and profitability.

• Collaborate with other departments to streamline operations and foster a positive working environment.

• Train and mentor accounting staff to ensure understanding of and compliance with all aspects of accounting functions.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance at all levels of accounting operations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with BlackLine software

• Competence in Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Ability to manage Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Auditing skills

• Experience in Billing Functions

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Previous managerial experience in Accounting or Finance

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of financial regulations and legislation

• Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
