Description
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team in Weston, Florida in the Marketing/PR sector. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer credit inquiries. This opportunity offers a contract to hire employment type.
Responsibilities:
• Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently
• Maintain precise customer credit records
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly
• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly
• Take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments
• Invoicing tasks, including downloading and amending invoices to meet customer needs and specifications
• Review invoices line by line for accuracy and precision
• Utilize Excel for tasks such as v-lookup and pivot tables
• Operate QuickBooks online for various tasks
• Handle Accounts Payable tasks, which include supplier payments and setting up payments in the bank
• Manage Accounts Receivable tasks, including billing and invoice processing
• Conduct account reconciliation activities using tools like Oracle, SAP, and LEED Accounts Payable
• Perform weekly account payable tasks and manage payable invoices using QuickBooks Online.
Requirements • Possess skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Familiarity with Billing procedures and Data Entry tasks
• Proficient in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for various accounting tasks
• Experience with Oracle software for managing databases
• Proficient in QuickBooks for managing accounting functions
• Knowledge of SAP for enterprise resource planning
• Familiarity with LEED Accounts Payable procedures
• Experience in managing Weekly Account Payable tasks
• Proficiency in handling Payable Invoices
• Familiarity with Quickbooks Online for managing financial tasks
• Open to candidates with 0+ years of experience in the field of Accounting
• Previous experience in a Marketing/PR industry would be advantageous.
