Robert Half Senior Consolidation Analyst in Wexford, Pennsylvania

Description

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented Senior Consolidation Analyst to join our team. The Senior Consolidation Analyst will provide strategic insights on financial performance by consolidating financial results, analyzing trends, and providing variance explanations. This position will also play a crucial role in driving the budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Consolidate financial results from different business units for corporate reporting purposes.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Generate periodic financial reports, including the consolidated income statement, cash flow, and balance sheet.

  • Assist with the planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities and provide on-going financial analysis support.

  • Conduct monthly variance analysis and prepare commentary on financial results.

  • Facilitate the financial analysis of strategic projects and investments, including NPV, ROI, and payback period calculations.

  • Drive process improvements and documentation across financial consolidation and reporting function.

  • Assisting with internal and external audit requirements, and ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to gather accurate financial data.

  • Participate in special projects or ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or closely related field required; CPA or CMA designation preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and analysis.

  • Proficiency in financial consolidation software and systems, preferably in SAP, Oracle, or Hyperion.

  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and other key financial principles.

  • Robust analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial audiences.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Pro-active, self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
