POSITION: JR. ACCOUNTANT

Our Valued Client, a reputable and fast-growing agricultural manufacturer, is seeking a Jr. Accountant to join its expanding team based in Western Massachusetts. As a Jr. Accountant, you will be responsible for a range of accounting duties, from Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable to maintaining the general ledger and assisting with a variety of transactional and financial accounting duties. This wonderful team is specifically targeting a candidate who wants to be mentored and is promotable!

Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Assist with maintenance of the general ledger and ensure the balance and reconciliation of accounts

• Prepare and manage journal entries while researching and resolving any discrepancies in accounts

• Perform account and bank reconciliations regularly to ensure accuracy

• Assist with audit preparation

• Assist with month end close procedures and adjustments

• Use ERP Accounting System for various accounting tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting

• Must hold a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or related field

• Proficiency in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and / or Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Familiarity with Bank Reconciliations and General Ledger maintenance

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong communication skills
