Robert Half Financial Analyst in WHITE CITY, Oregon

Description

Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is looking for an exceptional Financial Analyst to be part of a fast-growing manufacturing company in White City, Oregon. In this Financial Analyst position, you will be tasked with measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans and conducting financial modeling on a wide range of products. In addition to preparing reports for management, you will help advise management on the distribution of resources to best complete objectives. You will focus on areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management as a business partner on tis dynamic team. In the Financial Analyst role, your primary areas of focus will include supporting world class strategic and financial planning methods, building long-range operating plans to support business imperatives and developing rolling forecast processes to ensure resources every quarter are consumed at maximum effectiveness. You will also help with operationalizing and cultivating a more data-driven planning process and improved monthly and quarterly reporting. In this role, you will be directly involved in the coordination of various planning cycles (annual planning, quarterly forecasts and monthly outlooks), while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues, cost analysis, and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of financial analyst/FP& A experience required

  • Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting required

  • CPA highly preferred but not required

  • Manufacturing industry experience (will have some cost accounting/analysis involvement)

  • Advanced Excel and system savvy

  • Ability to help create reports and provide ad hoc analysis

  • Proven experience in process improvement and implementation

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with ability to work with leadership in all departments
