Robert Half Accounts Receivable Specialist in White Plains, New York
Description
We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in WHITE PLAINS, New York. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including managing client invoices, deductions, facilitating collections, and maintaining and reconciling accounts. This position is a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Process over 50 invoices daily for a range of client accounts.
• Work with clients to facilitate collections, using various methods such as phone calls, emails, and direct meetings.
• Deduct from received payments for collections of overdue accounts and update records accordingly.
• Contribute to the resolution of account discrepancies through detailed analysis.
• Utilize software systems, such as Great Plains, for managing and reconciling accounts.
• Oversee the maintenance of accurate customer records.
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
Requirements
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary for efficient data management and financial tasks.
• Familiarity with CyberSource is required to effectively handle online transactions.
• Strong Data Processing skills are needed to accurately manage, organize, and interpret vital financial data.
• Knowledge of Accounting Functions is required to ensure accurate and comprehensive financial management.
• Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial to ensure timely and accurate payments.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions is necessary for efficient and secure electronic transactions.
• Experience in Billing Functions is required to accurately manage invoices and payments.
• Ability to monitor and record Cash Activity is essential for maintaining accurate financial records
