Robert Half is delighted to assist a cherished non-profit organization located in White Plains, NY, in their search for a highly organized Bookkeeping Administrator. This individual will provide essential administrative support to the CFO, assist with financial reporting, and foster an organized and efficient environment. This is an on-site, contract-to-hire opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative support to the CFO including meeting coordination, correspondence management, and expense reporting.

• Manage the finance department's reporting calendar, ensuring organized and timely financial and tax reporting.

• Enter data in financial system, handle banking deposits, and maintain comprehensive digital files.

• Coordinate purchasing activities and assist in processing financial documents.

• Assist with year-end reconciliation and liaise with external auditors.

• Maintain and track insurance certificates, assist with insurance renewal applications, and resolve issues in liaison with insurance broker.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of office administration and coordination experience, preferably within a finance department of a non-profit.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Valid NYS driver’s license for occasional bank errands.

• Project management experience and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

• Understanding of a non-profit Finance department's functionality.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
