As the Controller of this Manufacturing Company, you will play a crucial role in leading the financial operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on background in finance and accounting, possess strong leadership skills, and be an integral part of the company's leadership team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing the monthly close process, managing external audits, preparing accurate financial statements, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.

  • Financial Leadership: Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to the organization's leadership team, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

  • Team Management: Lead and manage the finance team efficiently, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Monthly Close: Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in the preparation of financial statements and related reports.

  • External Audits: Manage and coordinate external audits, working closely with auditors to provide necessary information and resolve any audit-related issues.

  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze accurate and timely financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.

  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department, implementing best practices and optimizing processes for increased efficiency.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation preferred.

  • Hands-on experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proven experience managing and leading a finance team.

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
