Robert Half International Senior Credit Operations Analyst in WHITE PLAINS, New York

Description

The Senior Credit Operations Analyst’s core responsibility is to enhance the productivity and internal service delivery value across the entire company of the Credit Underwriting Department, by managing and executing on-going tasks and ad hoc projects alike. Key activities include: maintaining and enhancing the Credit Policies; addressing and resolving escalated requests for re-reviews and appeals of Credit decisions along with Senior Management in the Credit Department; reviewing the accuracy and completeness of Credit decisions and Credit files; and developing, testing and implementing Credit decisioning criteria based upon industry research and proven market needs. In addition, the Senior Credit Operations Analyst will be responsible for underwriting all mid-ticket financing requests

• Evaluate, propose and implement modifications to the Credit Policies based upon internal feedback, market developments and trends observed in their daily application.

• Perform regular Internal Audits and Quality Control checks on Credit Approvals, including compliance with Credit Policies, accuracy of Equipment and Customer classifications, proper documentation of due diligence performed and adherence of Contract Documents to Credit Approval terms.

• Identify or review potential fraudulent transactions and take appropriate internal action, including undertaking transactions-specific mitigating actions, post-mortem training and/or new risk management processes.

• Decision accurately and consistently in accordance with the Credit Policies an acceptable number of flow applications to stay in touch with the process as well as contribute to the fluidity of the Credit Decisioning Queue.
