Robert Half Senior Epic Analyst in White Plains, New York

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Senior Epic Analyst in White Plains, New York. The successful candidate will be instrumental in monitoring and enhancing operational workflows, mentoring entry level analysts, and installing and upgrading Epic applications. This role is crucial to our team as it involves a high level of interaction with end-users, vendors, and various internal departments.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and optimize the operational workflow system, identifying areas for enhancement and recommending improvements.

• Provide guidance and mentorship to entry level Analysts, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment.

• Handle the installation and upgrading of Epic ClinDoc and Stork applications, ensuring the configurations are accurate and efficient.

• Deliver timely and detail oriented customer support, managing and resolving complex issues as they arise.

• Work closely with end-users to understand their requirements and design optimal solutions.

• Participate in the development and maintenance of complex system enhancements, coordinating with the appropriate associates or vendors for modifications.

• Act as a liaison between end-users and vendors, escalating issues as necessary.

• Oversee and review the resolution analysis and application modifications of analysts for accuracy and completeness.

• Coordinate vendor activities, including device integration testing and hardware or software installation.

• Execute system changes in line with the IT Change Management Process, including creating test plans and documenting all outcomes of testing.

• Provide support and training to end-users on Epic applications, modules, and functionality.

• Develop and maintain accurate workflow documentation for supported Epic applications, distributing the material to users as necessary.

• Create reports using a report-writing tool.

• Contribute to policy and procedure development related to security, downtime, backup operations, and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements • Applicants must possess a certification in Epic

• Proven experience as an Epic Analyst or similar role in healthcare IT

• Strong understanding of healthcare operations and clinical workflows

• Proficiency in software testing and troubleshooting

• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Proficient in creating and maintaining documentation

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in healthcare IT

• High level of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality

• Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and deadlines in a busy environment

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred
