Robert Half Project Manager in White Plains, Pennsylvania

Description We are in search of a Project Manager for our Food & Food Processing Industry. This role is located in Reading, Pennsylvania, and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Project Manager will be instrumental in managing company-wide projects related to new product launches and product changes. With a focus on cross-functional interfaces, the Project Manager will ensure the financial health of projects and adherence to the stage-gate process.

Responsibilities:

• Manage new product launches from concept approval to manufacturing and launch, overseeing day-to-day activities.

• Interface directly with R& D, Category, Marketing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Business Unit stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.

• Lead project team meetings to drive task completion, work through bottlenecks, assess risks, and raise issues to management.

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of innovation information throughout the Stage-Gate process.

• Coordinate platform and project reviews, gather, validate, analyze, and present results to project teams and senior stakeholders.

• Continuously review the financial deliverables for the project to ensure it meets financial targets set.

• Create and update timelines, develop risk management, status reporting, and manage cross-functional interfaces to ensure timings are met for all projects.

• Follow the stage-gate process and ensure all gate documents are prepared and submitted for approval.

• Support the development of necessary project management tools and templates to meet various customer or business requirements.

• Utilize skills in Supply Chain Management and Project Coordination for effective project management. Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience working in the Food & Food Processing industry or a related field.

• Proven track record in Project Coordination and Supply Chain Management.

• Strong leadership abilities, with experience in overseeing and directing teams.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans and solutions in alignment with business objectives.

• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable strategies.

• Proficient in the use of project management software and other related technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred.

• Professional certifications in Project Management or Supply Chain Management would be advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
