Robert Half Accountants Payable Specialist in Whittier, California
Description
As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the company's expenditures, ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments, and securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts.
Responsibilities Include:
Manage accounts payable using Syteline ERP and ensure all financial transactions are accurately and timely processed and documented.
Verify, process, and reconcile invoices and purchase orders.
Prepare payments for vendors and respond to all vendor inquiries.
Maintain filing systems for financial documents, including invoices, payment receipts, and vendor files.
Perform monthly reconciliations, assist in monthly and annual closings, and prepare necessary reports to summarize and forecast company business activity and financial position.
Ensure compliance with procedures and controls to prevent discrepancies.
Continuously improve payment processes.
Requirements
Qualifications:
A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required.
A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within a manufacturing industry.
Proficiency with Syteline ERP software is strongly preferred.
Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
