Robert Half International Customer Service Representative in Whittier, California


We're working with a busy logistics company in Whittier, CA who are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their team.

In this job you'll follow up with clients via phone and email, coordinate with the warehouse team to track down missing packages and assist with providing shipping updates.

The hours for this position are Mon-Fri 4pm-1am and it pays up to $20 per hour.

  • Strong customer service and office administrative skills

  • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with internal and external partners and clients/customers

  • Proven knowledge of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, e.g. ACT!, Illustrator, Highrise, and Insightly

  • Supportive, positive attitude with a professional demeanour applied to all tasks

  • Proficient with computers and technology platforms

  • Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • 1+ years of past relevant experience

  • Proven experience going the extra mile to solve complex customer inquiries via extensive research

  • Foundational knowledge in Microsoft Excel

  • Call center experience desired

  • Customer service experience preferred

  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written, verbal and social communication skills highly desired
