Robert Half Financial Analyst in WICKLIFFE, Ohio
Description Robert Half is looking for a dedicated Financial Analyst to join a fast-growing company. In this role, you will perform financial modeling on a number of financial products as well as be responsible for measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans. You will also be responsible for advising management on the allocation of resources to best complete objectives and preparing reports for management. In this role, you will be part of a dynamic team serving as a key business partner in areas like forecasting, performance reporting, and expense management. This Financial Analyst role, which is a short-term contract / temporary employment opportunity, is based in the Wickliffe, Ohio, area. We seek a candidate with a strong work ethic and a demonstrated competency in financial analysis.
How you will make an impact
Support contacts in Accounting and Operations to execute business plans
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide decision making support
Assess potential risks and opportunities and research performance
Complete and direct forecasting reports
Adaptable individual experienced in analyzing large amounts of information and managing expectations
Operate with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Work next to senior executives on long-term deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization
Discover the root causes of internal and external facts that are influencing performance and outcomes
Maintain weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings and P& L forecasting
Monitor monthly and quarterly performance by comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources effectively
Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required Requirements - Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity
Microsoft Excel experience
Solid understanding of Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
Command of financial analysis
Excel Formulas experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations
Go-to-market experience or experience
Understanding of Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required
Spreadsheet and ERP system experience recommended
BA/BS degree in finance or a related field
Background in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly valued (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
