Robert Half Financial Analyst/Manager in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania

Description

We are searching for a Finance Manager to join our established team in the Real Estate & Property industry. This role is based in WILKES-BARRE, Pennsylvania and is instrumental in providing financial leadership and analysis for construction and development projects.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out extensive financial analysis of construction and real estate projects, including cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

• Evaluate the financial performance of buildings and future development opportunities.

• Develop and maintain financial models to aid project evaluation and decision-making processes.

• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Monitor project budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.

• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure financial objectives are achieved.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial planning.

• Conduct risk analysis and develop strategies to mitigate financial risks.

• Oversee the financial aspects of contracts, including cost estimation and billing.

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.

• Support the implementation and improvement of financial systems and processes.

Requirements • Must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in a financial analyst or manager role within the Real Estate & Property industry

• Proficiency in ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and ERP solutions is required

• Must have demonstrated experience in managing accounting functions

• Prior experience in auditing is essential

• Must have a strong understanding of budget processes

• Experience in construction cost analysis is necessary

• Excellent skills in cost analysis

• Proven ability in budgeting and forecasting is required

• Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required

• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required

• Must be proficient in using financial software systems and tools.
