Robert Half Patient Service Representative in Willoughby, Ohio
Description We are in the process of recruiting a Patient Service Representative to join our team in the High Tech - Pharm/Biotech industry. This role is based in Willoughby, Ohio, and offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. As a Patient Service Representative, you will be the face of our retail clinics, responsible for improving patient experience, driving revenue generation, and managing administrative and operational functions.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with patients, acting as the primary point of contact, and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Drive revenue generation by making outbound calls for follow-ups and to potential patients.
• Greet all patients and obtain potential referrals while understanding current marketing promotions.
• Schedule appointments using company protocols and internal scheduling database software.
• Ensure the office is patient-ready by managing office supply inventory as per approved lists.
• Maintain an accurate account of petty cash, bank deposits, and credit transactions.
• Manage hearing aid inventory and ensure it is up to date.
• Work directly with patients to collect all insurance documentation with a strong understanding of current HIPAA laws.
• Perform data entry tasks and maintain accurate customer credit records.
• Use CRM tools for managing customer interactions and addressing their needs. Requirements • Must have a strong understanding and working knowledge of CRM systems.
• Experience in handling and responding to inbound calls is essential.
• Familiarity with authorizations and billing functions in the Pharm/Biotech industry.
• Ability to create and interpret charts and graphs for data analysis.
• Experience in participating and organizing community events.
• Proficiency in outbound marketing strategies and techniques.
• Demonstrable experience in outbound sales in a high-tech or Pharm/Biotech industry.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and collaborate effectively with various departments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Must have a proactive approach, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with privacy laws and regulations related to patient data is preferred.
