Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency Remediation Lead
A client of ours is looking for a Business Continuity & Operational Resiliency Remediation Lead for a contract role. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in Business Continuity, Operational Resiliency, and Program Management, who can drive regulatory remediation efforts and lead impactful organizational change. This role is also responsible for enhancing Business Continuity (BC) and Operational Resiliency (Ops Res) processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The role involves identifying deficiencies, developing and implementing remediation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to create sustainable solutions. This position also requires expertise in data analysis and reporting to satisfy internal and external audit and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and manage project tracking and provide updates to stakeholders.
Analyze and enhance current processes with modernization or automation solutions.
Collaborate with compliance, business, and technology teams to implement remediation plans.
Serve as a subject matter expert in recovery capability analysis and regulatory compliance.
Lead process design and improvement initiatives.
Partner with 2nd and 3rd Lines of Defense to ensure policy adherence.
Supervise, coach, and develop team members.
Prepare and deliver materials addressing regulatory concerns.
Define metrics and reporting in collaboration with the GRC program manager.
Proactively identify and implement strategic solutions.
Requirements
Qualifications:
10+ years in banking/finance, program/project management, and resource leadership, preferably in a large bank setting.
Expertise in BC and Ops Res practices, regulatory frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, OCC, FRB, FDIC), and process management.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Effective communication with all management levels.
Ability to lead high-priority, complex projects and recommend strategic solutions.
Proficiency in regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
