Innovative, manufacturing company located in the Wilmington Delaware area seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant with public accounting and/or financial services experience. The Senior Corporate Accountant will be responsible for overseeing: the financial reporting process, preparing journal entries, assisting with payroll related inquiries, the monthly financial close process, general accounting functions, consolidations, preparing documentation for external audits, cost-reduction, implementation and development of new procedures, and department training. This candidate will ensure accurate and timely processing of the month end close process in addition to year-end auditing.

Primary Responsibilities

· Manage month-end/quarter-end/year-end close process

· Provide budgeting and forecasting

· Financial Analysis

· Prepare financial statements

· Generate monthly close schedules

· Maintain financial documents

· Balance sheet account reconciliations

· Tax audits/Tax returns

· Process Improvement of Internal Controls

· Assist with external audit activities

· Oversee internal controls

Requirements

The ideal Senior Corporate Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting.

Other requirements for the Senior Corporate Accountant role include and are not limited to:

· CPA preferred

· 3+ years of overall accounting experience

· SAP, Oracle HFM, and consolidation experience is a big plus

· Experience with Power BI big plus

· Strong GAAP experience
