Description
Successful, non-profit is looking to hire a Senior Accountant with non-profit expertise. As the Senior Accountant, you will oversee the general ledger system, prepare monthly journal entries, process/prepare client invoices, track AR transactions, supervise the AP team, monitor and update fixed assets, perform account reconciliations, assist with the annual audit process, maintain financial records, and perform financial analysis as needed. The successful candidate for this role will have sharp analytical skills, excellent time management abilities, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Prepare financial reports/statements
· Cash Management
· Complete month close general ledger activities
· Balance Sheet Reconciliation
· Revenue Management
· Assist with capital projects
· Spreadsheet Maintenance
· Perform account reconciliation
Requirements
The ideal Senior Accountant will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or similar.
Other requirements for the Senior Accountant role include and are not limited to:
· CPA a plus
· 4 years of progressive experience in a non-profit environment overseeing reporting, and grant administration
· Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
· MS Dynamics GP heavily preferred
· Strong understanding of accounting principles, regulations, and standards
