Job Title: Paralegal - Trust & Estate Administration
Location: Wilmington, DE

They are seeking an experienced and innovative Paralegal with a minimum of 3+ years in Trust & Estate Administration to join their dynamic legal team. This is a full-time, in-office position with competitive salary and benefits.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Estate Planning and Administration.
Client interaction experience with courts and multiple companies.
Exceptional organizational skills, time management, and ability to meet deadlines.
Strong research and fact-checking skills.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Knowledge of Estate Management Software.
No hybrid work; office-based only.
Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with Bloomberg and GEMS.
Knowledge of federal taxing authorities and File & Serve.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Prepare probate petitions, inventories, and administration accounts.
Create valuation reports for securities using valuation software.
Assist in the sale and transfer of assets, including real estate.
Prepare various Probate filings and ready attorney for court proceedings.
Schedule and manage court filings in a timely manner.
Maintain and balance Estate & Trust checkbooks.
Prepare Receipts and Releases for distributions from an estate or trust.
Prepare Federal and Delaware estate tax returns.
Relevant Practice Areas: Estate planning and wealth transfer | Estate and trust litigation | Estate and trust administration | Business transactions | Tax law
Representative Prior Experience: Assisted Attorneys in:
Counsel on matters related to estates and trusts.
Representation in the Delaware Court of Chancery and the Pennsylvania Orphans’ Court.
Trust modifications, terminations, mergers, decantings, nonjudicial settlements, and trust situs changes.
Estate planning, asset protection planning, and sophisticated wealth transfer strategies.
National presentations on directed trusts, nonjudicial methods of trust modification, and recent developments in state and federal trust law.
