Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join our team in Wilmington, Delaware. The role involves managing customer service in a high-volume call center environment and working closely with credit and collection processes. This contract-to-hire opportunity will utilize your experience in collections and customer service, specifically your proficiency in Microsoft Excel, billing functions, and collection processes.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to and manage customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and organize customer data.

• Execute billing functions accurately to ensure seamless financial operations.

• Implement and manage collection processes to ensure the timely recovery of debts.

• Monitor customer accounts regularly for any inconsistencies or discrepancies.

• Use your customer service skills to enhance customer experience in our high-volume call center.

• Apply your knowledge of credit procedures to manage customer accounts effectively.

• Act as a collector when necessary, ensuring the company's financial security.

• Maintain a high level of accuracy in all tasks to ensure the integrity of our financial data.

• Address and resolve customer service issues to maintain high customer satisfaction. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Collections Specialist or in a similar role

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with billing functions and collection processes

• Proven experience as a collector would be a plus

• Understanding of credit-related laws

• Excellent customer service skills, with experience in call center customer service

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends and developments.
