Description

We are seeking a Power BI Developer to join our team in the asset management industry. Based in Bellwood, IL, you'll play a crucial role in our operations, developing a centralized dashboard to extract real-time data from various divisions. This is a contract to permanent employment opportunity where you'll be tasked with asset tracking, real-time cell phone monitoring, and connecting to/monitoring software.

Responsibilities:

• Develop a centralized dashboard using Microsoft Power BI and Power Apps

• Carry out Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes for data integration

• Implement real-time cell phone monitoring

• Manage SQL and database management systems including SQL Server, Dataverse, and others

• Apply data warehousing concepts to improve data storage and retrieval

• Track and monitor assets across different divisions

• Utilize Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking

• Participate in Backend Development using C++ and GitHub

• Conduct AB Testing for software enhancements

• Use Agile Scrum for project management, Ajax for web development, and API Development with ASP.NET

Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira, with experience in project management and issue tracking.

• Strong skills in Backend Development, with a focus on enhancing system performance.

• Experience in Bug Tracking, ensuring system stability and user-friendly experience.

• Competence in C++, with the ability to develop efficient and reliable code.

• Familiarity with GitHub, including version control and collaboration features.

• Proficiency in AB Testing, with a focus on improving user experience and system performance.

• Experience in Agile Scrum, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, iterative development environment.

• Knowledge of Ajax, with a focus on creating asynchronous web applications.

• Experience in API Development, with the ability to integrate various software components.
