Robert Half Purchasing/Facilities Support Specialist in Wilsonville, Oregon
Description
We are looking for a diligent Purchasing Clerk for a Wilsonville, OR based client who will be providing crucial clerical and administrative support to the Facilities & Purchasing Teams. This role involves tasks such as processing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, reviewing bid packages, and handling customer service duties.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders and invoices
• Review bid packages and prepare the necessary paperwork for further review
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
• Utilize Excel and spreadsheets to manage and organize data
• Apply critical thinking skills to ask follow-up questions when necessary
• Use customer service skills to handle inquiries and concerns effectively
• Assist in the creation and reconciliation of purchase orders in the system.
Requirements
• Proficiency in data entry, specifically numeric data entry
• Experience with purchase orders and related procedures
• Proficient in using purchasing software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
