Robert Half Accountant - Entry Level in Windsor, Connecticut

Description

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our client's growing team!

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency.

• Maintain and update customer credit records to ensure all information is current and accurate.

• Handle customer inquiries related to their credit accounts and provide timely solutions.

• Monitor customer credit accounts for any irregularities or potential issues.

• Perform treasury-related tasks including managing cash receipts and maintaining the general ledger.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure all financial transactions are executed and documented accurately.

• Prepare and process journal entries as per the company's financial procedures.

• Regularly update the cash applications to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
