As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for account analysis and reconciliations, financial statement preparation and consolidation, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. Your responsibilities in this role
Put together Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Complete other projects as required
Coordinate quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Function with business partners to ensure compliance with procedures and controls, corporate accounting policies, and provide support on special requests
Carry out monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP
Be a part of various initiatives spanning multiple departments
Build analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Assemble monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting
Bring a daily dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process Requirements - 5+ years of overall general accounting experience
Candidate must possess first-rate analytical, quantitative and social skills
Strong organization skills
Deep understanding of internal controls and SOX compliance
BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are desired
Current and relevant ERP system experience
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
We're looking for people with financial reporting systems proficiency
Demonstrated skills in interacting effectively, both verbally and in writing, with functional managers
Bank reconciliations experience
Expertise in account reconciliation
Proficiency in month end closings
Account reconciliation experience desired
Competence with financial data analysis and report generation that is prompt and accurate
Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects and deadlines
Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required
