Robert Half Payroll Specialist in Winston Salem, North Carolina
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist in Winston Salem, North Carolina, within the Health Pharm/Biotech industry. In this role, you will be tasked with handling multiple aspects of payroll operations, utilizing various accounting software systems, and ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of customer applications.
Responsibilities:
• Handle payroll functions using Accounting Software Systems and ADP Workforce Now
• Utilize Ceridian and Dayforce for efficient payroll management
• Administer 401k - RRSP Administration tasks
• Work on Accounting Functions and Auditing to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage Benefit Functions to ensure employee benefits are appropriately handled
• Use About Time software for efficient time tracking and management
• Perform month-end close duties to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
• Utilize paylocity and general ledger for accounting and payroll functions
• Engage in customer service tasks, resolving customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must
• Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now will be beneficial
• Knowledge and experience in using Ceridian is desired
• Ability to use Dayforce effectively is needed
• Experience with 401k - RRSP Administration is required
• Familiarity with About Time software is preferred
• Proficiency in performing Accounting Functions is a must
• Experience in Auditing is desired
• Ability to manage Benefit Functions effectively is required
