Description
Robert Half Marketing & Creative is looking for a webmaster for one of our clients in Winston Salem, NC!
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the company’s WordPress website, ensuring consistent uptime and optimal performance.
Monitor site security, perform regular updates to plugins, themes, and WordPress core, and address vulnerabilities promptly.
Troubleshoot website issues, perform bug fixes, and conduct regular testing to ensure functionality across devices and browsers.
Develop and implement new website features, functionalities, and enhancements using custom code, themes, or plugins.
Optimize website performance, including page speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness.
Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketing teams to ensure content is updated and aligned with business goals.
Create and manage website backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.
Ensure website compliance with legal requirements, such as accessibility and data privacy (GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Analyze website traffic, user behavior, and performance metrics to recommend and implement improvements.
Stay updated with the latest web trends, technologies, and best practices related to WordPress.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Web Master or similar role, with expertise in WordPress.
Strong knowledge of WordPress themes, plugins, and custom post types.
Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Experience with WordPress security best practices and website optimization techniques.
Familiarity with SEO, Google Analytics, and website performance tools.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
Familiarity with website accessibility standards (WCAG) and privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
