Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Winter Park, Florida

Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Payroll Administrator in the construction/contractor industry, based in Winter Park, Florida. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to support the payroll department, including running payroll reports, assisting in processing payroll, and data entry of invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Run payroll reports with precision and consistency.

• Assist in processing payroll to ensure employees are paid accurately and on time.

• Perform data entry of invoices, ensuring all information is correct and up-to-date.

• Liaise with vendors and internal employees, responding to inquiries and providing necessary information.

• Carry out other payroll-related tasks as directed by the Payroll Manager.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks including report generation and data entry.

• Maintain administrative skills to effectively manage various tasks and responsibilities.

• Employ in-house payroll systems to manage and process payroll data. Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential for managing, analyzing, and presenting data.

• Experience with in-house payroll systems and processes is required.

• Strong administrative skills are necessary for managing tasks, organizing files, and supporting other team members.

• Ability to accurately perform data entry tasks, ensuring all information is correctly inputted and updated.

• Experience in generating reports is required, particularly those related to payroll and employee data.

• Knowledge of construction or contractor industry is preferred.

• Excellent attention to detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in all tasks.

• Strong communication skills are required to effectively interact with team members and management.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality, as the role involves handling sensitive employee information.

• Problem-solving skills are beneficial for identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies or issues.
