Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Woburn, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Woburn, Massachusetts. In this role, you will be a part of our finance team, primarily focusing on processing invoices, managing vendors, and handling other accounts payable tasks. This role is part of the finance industry and will be based in a dynamic and fast-paced workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain and update customer credit records in a timely manner
• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action to collect delinquent payments
• Handle day to day accounts payable inbox management
• Responsible for invoice processing, including basic coding for invoices
• Manage purchase orders (POs) ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Take charge of vendor management, ensuring a smooth and professional relationship with all vendors
• Utilize Accounting Software Systems for various accounting tasks
• Perform data entry tasks related to Accounts Payable (AP) and check processing. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or a similar position
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) practices
• Proven ability in Check Processing
• Excellent Data Entry skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accuracy in a high-volume environment
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
