Robert Half Collections Analyst in Woburn, Massachusetts

Description We are offering an opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Woburn, Massachusetts. This role involves managing a customer's credit account and ensuring timely payments, particularly in the telecom industry. The workplace is a dynamic environment where you will be interacting with various internal departments and customers to resolve outstanding balances and credit inquiries.

Responsibilities:

• Reconcile and reduce receivable balances within assigned portfolio.

• Interpret lease language or review purchase orders, auditing billing amounts, and research pay histories.

• Collect past due balances on rent or purchase order-based receivables.

• Manage high call volume and consistent follow up to resolve past due balances.

• Administer past due or default notices and decide if an account should be written off, taken to litigation, or sent to a collection agency.

• Maintain current collection notes at the contract parent or transaction level.

• Establish and maintain positive interactions with internal departments such as Leasing Operations, Legal, Site Acquisitions, Site Leasing Management, Engineering, Acquisition, Zoning and Permitting, and Redevelopment to resolve customer disputes in a timely manner.

• Provide timely and accurate Accounts Receivable (AR) reporting for contracts or invoice aging balances.

• Support a high volume of customers by following a defined collection strategy for making daily calls to customers and following up on arrangements made for resolution of outstanding balances. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Collections Specialist role or similar.

• Proven expertise in Customer Service.

• Proficiency in reviewing and managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Experience in Invoice Review and Reporting.

• Knowledge of Operations and Collection Processes.

• Familiarity with Contract review and Supervising teams.

• Skills in Workstation Support and Auditing.

• Experience in Billing and managing Financial Notes.

• Knowledge of Engineering principles as they apply to the role.

• Proficiency in managing Purchase Orders.

• Ability to conduct Research Analysis and make necessary Adjustments.

• Experience in handling Litigation issues.

• Knowledge of Notices and Acquisitions.

• Familiarity with Wireless technologies and Call Center Operations.

• Skills in Interpreting and using Assertion Markup Language.

• Ability to collaborate with Internal Departments.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
