Description We are in search of a meticulous Bookkeeper to join our team in WOODBINE, Maryland. In this role, you will be tasked with managing the company's financial records, including sales, purchases, payments, and receipts. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities include:
• Accurately entering bank and credit card statements into the system
• Conducting bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure financial records are correct
• Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable
• Applying your skills in Microsoft Excel and Quickbooks for efficient bookkeeping
• Carrying out account reconciliation to confirm that books are balanced
• Conducting month-end close procedures to ensure timely financial reporting
• Monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action when required. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a bookkeeping role
• Proficiency in account reconciliation
• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Ability to perform bank reconciliations
• Demonstrated skills in bookkeeping
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with month end close processes
• Proficient in QuickBooks software
• Possess strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowledge of general accounting procedures
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze information
• Confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
